Yes, that bronde style is definitely on the money, looks great on you, very natural, yet, expensive and cool looking hair. Would love to try it out myself, unfortunately, the early onset of grayness had me fixed on a monthly touch-up for my roots-friendly ash blond.
Since I got back to London (and spent a fortune in COS and TKMaxx already…) I am on a hunt for the perfect, cigarette, grey wool trouser. Help, wasted hours online and IRL browsing, but to no avail. Any ideas?

P.S. That jacket is trully magnificent. Value for money!

Welcome back to London Kika! The temptation of newly stocked shops…:) You gotta love London for that 🙂 You are right, there doesn’t seem to be a lot going on, grey wool pant wise. There’s a lot of black but not much grey, and frankly their online presentation is not great either. They all seem a bit…frumpy. Maxmara weekend does good ones sometimes and their prices are bit friendlier than their regular line. But I’m guessing that you’ve trawled all the online shops already 🙂 When I can’t find that dream piece then my answer is always to go couture 🙂 There’s a tailoring studio just by Colosseum on St Martin’s Lane called Carmen’s Tailoring. Their made to measure prices start at £120 for pants. Don’t be discouraged by their average website, I’ve had staff made there before that no other tailor wanted to try. There are wonderful fabric shops in Soho but they can be a bit expensive. There are online retailers which are so much cheaper than Soho. When I had one of my suits made, I went to check out the tween in Soho and bought exactly the same online, but cheaper. It all seems a bit of a hassle but it would be so worth it 🙂

Thanks for such an expert advice, Ana! I’ve never had anything tailored, a custom-made virgin so to speak 🙂 but I am willing to dip my toes into this unknown territory, as I am really getting frustrated with the high street ..Now thinking about it, I’ve always had problem with trousers, never-ending quest for good, smart-casual pair. I always end up at ZARA, thinking that this is such a unremarkable piece of clothing that it isn’t worth any serious investment anyway, and high-street will do. Will keep you informed about my trouser-hunt 🙂
