My favourite body part to hang stuff on is definitely the wrist. From watches to bracelets, I love that unexpected element when your sleeves ride up revealing your jewellery, your beloved, intimate pieces.
Lately, however, I’ve been trying on necklaces which were always my least favourite pieces, maybe because despite ballet classes, I still haven’t acquired a long, swan-like neck. But rifling through my jewellery box in search of inspiration I rediscovered my charm bracelet – in a new way. I simply piled them on my neck, dangling from different length chains.
I often keep them hidden, revealing only a glimpse, a flash of gold or red when my shirt opens a little too much by chance.
On the photos I’m wearing jewellery by a Polish brand, Apart, whose face is the fabulous Anja Rubik.
I can’t decide whether I love the name tag (a subtle nod to the military trend) or the painted red heart more. What do you think?
