This week for the first time I found myself stuck for images for a post. Stuck at home with a fractured ankle and growing fat on the sofa, I’ve had no chance to go and take photos outside. By this point I’ve grown sick of constant photos in my living room and I’m sure you are fed up with the settings, too.
“What are you going to do with all this time”- asked Iuliana when I emailed her to cancel an appointment. What, indeed? Well…
Starting a fashion brand (or any business of that matter) is both a daunting and exhilarating experience. I feel like I’m back to square one, back to the days when I was slowly putting together pieces of my current business. Today instead of applying for a licence and buying office equipment, I’m calling up mills in Italy, jobbers in the UK and wholesalers in Poland. I’ve booked myself for a textile show in London. I’ve got a sample maker lined up. Next step (amongst many other next steps)- finding a manufacturer.
My thought range from scary to exhilarating, from telling myself I’ve gone crazy to having butterflies in my stomach. It’s difficult to put it in words so I think for now I’ll just leave you with my current moodborad 🙂
