It was a bit like waiting for a bus: for years I never tried them and suddenly now I have four in my make up bag. The first one by NARS was a gift. I bought Gypsy Water at Liberty and it came with a goody bag full of make up. It is a super pretty but very grown up rose hue.

My second one is Pink Nude No 1 by Hourglass. They have the most delectable nude collection that suits every skin. The colours are strong and the overall look is quite dramatic. It is worth a try if you are after a luxurious, groomed look.

The third is Inglot a deep red by the Polish brand, Inglot. It’s a bit darker then I originally wanted. They had run out of “Dragon Red” hue so this was a substitute but as red lipsticks go, it got a lot of compliments.

The last one and my personal favourite is Revlon Colorburst in Mischievous. It’s an extremely flattering coral shade that goes on sheer but with enough colour to keep your lips looking natural and completely believable. My friend didn’t even realise that I was wearing lipstick. It looks better a little lived. It completely melts into your skin, making you stare at your own reflection in the mirror, wondering why on earth you look so ridiculously good.
