Hello long summer days! It feels so great to be able to put the suit away (adios amigos, see you tomorrow morning) and change into something stylish for the rest of the evening.
I haven’t had an opportunity to wear this skirt for over a year and now finally I could dig it out from my fashion cupboard.
I’ve always loved caramel hue. Apart from the obvious references (Starbucks’ millionaire shortbread will the the death of me one day) it’s a colour that suits everyone. Blondes look exquisite in it, brunettes majestic and expensive. Similar to cream and oyster hues, it lends itself to high street clothes making them look elegant and timeless.
Tonight I’m wearing my suede caramel skirt with a denim shirt and caramel pumps, both from Zara. I’ve accessorized with Chloe Marcia bag and gold bangles from a Polish jewelers, Kruk. It’s a perfect outfit for a date night. As I write it, The French and I are going out to watch the second half of England v Iceland. After a difficult and upsetting end to last week, I’m feeling petty (Britain, how could you) and I’m supporting Iceland. Just as well they are winning 2:1.
This week I’ll be posting every evening so why don’t you pop in to see me tomorrow? 🙂
